Message from Joost

Dear Joris,

We haven’t spoken in a while. In fact, I think we haven’t spoken for over 35 years. When we met there was so much energy between us, I really enjoyed hanging out with you. But it all changed when you decided to give me that haircut. I became an outcast amongst the other toys, and we spoke less and less. Bibi won your heart over, and you only wanted to talk about seals. I knew you liked movies so I felt that I had this one chance to win you back. Taking a huge chance, I went to Hollywood and miraculously was cast as the main character in a big movie. It sparked your interest and I felt it was going to work. But I tried too hard. You became very scared and never wanted to see a doll again in your life. I’ve been going from closet to closet since then, struggling with addictions, always waiting for you to take me back.

But don’t worry, for I know you will always be my friend, till the end.
